Myolie Wu wants to be self-reliant before committing to love
17 Oct – While she has no reservations for romance, TVB actress Myolie Wu said that it is also important for a woman to be self-reliant before committing to a relationship.
According to Mingpao News, the actress stated that she always keeps an open mind when it comes to relationship, even after her breakup with Bosco Wong two years ago.
"But I think, first and foremost, I have to work hard to prepare myself for it. I believe that a woman should be self-reliant, and have her own aspirations," she said.
Myolie believes that persevering and moving forward is the key to a good life, and that she is confident in her own judgement when it comes to choosing the right partner.
"I know what I want. Even if everybody tells me what's good for me, it doesn't mean he's the right one," said the actress.
Myolie also stressed that the right man for her would be the kind of man who isn't just responsible, but also able to support and fix each other's flaws.
