Nagayama Kento to be discharged in May

29 Apr – Actor Nagayama Kento, who was hospitalised after a motor accident earlier this month, would be discharged in May.

According to Tokyo Hive, his agency is expecting the actor to be discharged from the hospital in the middle of May, but it would still take some time before the actor is ready to resume his activities.

"Rehabilitation exercises with the doctor aren't enough, so I've also been doing a lot of it on my own time. They're telling me to be careful not to overdo myself," Nagayama wrote on his official blog since the accident.

His agency stated that Nagayama would continue his rehabilitation with crutches until he is fully recovered from the knee injury he sustained from the accident, hopefully by the summer.

"Walking without crutches will take some time, but I am certainly getting better. I will continue to rehabilitate so there will be no lasting effects, and I will do my best to see everyone again," Nagayama wrapped up in his blog.

Nagayama was hospitalised earlier this month, when he fell over his motorcycle on his way home. He had to endure surgery from the accident and lost his role in a stage play, where he was replaced by Nakamura Tomoya, as a result.
