Nicky Wu denies dating Cecilia Liu
18 Sep – Following rumours of their alleged romance, Hong Kong actor Nicky Wu recently stated that he does not know Cecilia Liu that well to be in a relationship with her.
According to 21CN website, the actor, who made an appearance at the press conference of their new drama series together, "Incisive Great Teacher", dismissed rumours of a romance with the Chinese actress and stated, "We are not that familiar with each other."
The actor continued, "Our previous two dramas had a lot of emotional scenes, so we had to keep our emotions intact and did not spend much time learning about each other. But this time around, it's completely different and the filming was much more fun."
While talking about their new period drama, Nicky revealed that he plays the role of Liu Ao Tian, a former detective who works as a teacher at China's first school that accepts female students. Liu is also in conflict with Cecilia's character Lu Yun Fei, another teacher who is in love with him.
Nicky enthused, "Liu and Yu would fight about a lot of things. But then my character would get jealous when he sees that a lot of men wanted to be with her."
Meanwhile, though the two of them are also collaborating in the sequel to "Bu Bu Jing Xin", entitled "Bu Bu Jing Qing", Nicky revealed that his next project will not include Cecilia, saying, "We can't work in every drama together. It might not be the best thing."
