'Once Upon A Time...Dobara' for Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi

After a superb face-off in ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI, they weren't paired together again in the film's sequel. However, Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi would now be in a face-off of a different kind, what with former's ACTION JACKSON deciding to take on latter's UNGLI on 7th November. The film was first set to clash with Akshay Kumar's HOLIDAY but both actors were of firm opinion that a clash between two biggies doesn't help. Hence, Ajay decided to move his ACTION JACKSON ahead.
Meanwhile, he started work on SINGHAM 2 as a result of which the shoot of Prabhudheva's ACTION JACKSON has been pushed by a few months. However, the move means that it would bring Ajay and Emraan in a ring now.
"They are two of the nicest people in the industry and there is no animosity or professional rivalry between them. However, there is no breathing space for films from September onwards and no ways can any film expect a solo release. There is no other choice for filmmakers to find themselves in a two way clash at the least," says a common associate of the two actors.
Incidentally, the release date of UNGLI was announced just a week ago when Karan Johar took to a micro-blogging site and announced the film's arrival. That was after the film had already been pushed ahead at least a couple of times in last one year. However, with ACTION JACKSON coming into the fray, it would be a major battle with Karan Johar as well as Sunil Lulla (producer of ACTION JACKSON) putting all their resources together to give their respective films a major release.
When contacted, Eros spokesperson confirmed that the Ajay Devgn starrer would release on 7th November.
