Pixie Lott talks GD&TOP
1 May – After the collaboration with Big Bang's sub-unit GD&TOP, British singer Pixie Lott sat down with AsiaOne Showbiz and talked about how she came to work with the group.
As Bigbangupdates reported, Pixie Lott revealed that she first learned about the group in Japan. Lott stated, "I just loved the whole vibe of it. The music videos are so crazy, so futuristic. I was so interested in the whole craze, and how huge it had become. It's a really fresh sound."
The singer then decided to work with the two rappers, and they were also enthusiastic about the collaboration.
"I became such a big fan of theirs (GD&TOP/BIGBANG), and when I heard that they wanted to collaborate as well, I was so excited. They have a great dance vibe, but I think it was cool for us to do something a little bit different," said Lott, when the collaboration turned towards R&B rather than dance sound.
"I think it shows their fans something different as well."
