31 Jan – The Bollywood actress-model, Priyanka Kothari, revealed her ecstasy and appreciation of the opportunity to star in the locally-made Tamil film "Ops Kossa Dappa 3: The Final Dappa", a film which has the potential to see international distribution, considering the success the previous two instalments met in cinemas and straight-to-video distribution.
"I'm very happy and thankful to the producer for giving me the chance and for believing in my ability and credibility to help carry the film," said 29-year-old Kothari.
She added, "Having the opportunity to work alongside other local artistes is a valuable experience for me," during a media film session that was held recently.
For those who have not watched the previous films, the series features a group of cops who try to prevent and solve crime on a local scale, bringing a sense of realism for the audiences, while featuring many well-known guest stars. The upcoming "Ops Kossa Dappa 3: The Final Dappa" will continue this premise, linking Priyanka with Kollywood actor, Kadhal Dhandabani, and Malaysian artistes such as Sashitharan, Logan, Jasmine, and also the international supermodel, Amber Chia.
Produced and distributed by SSK Resources Sdn. Bhd., "Ops Kossa Dappa 3: The Final Dappa" will be screening in Malaysia's cinemas in June. However release dates for screening in India have yet to be decided.
