Psy Barges in ‘Gangnam Style’ on ‘One Night of TV Entertainment’
Psy got together with the producers of SBS’ One Night of TV Entertainment to test the MCs on their ability to deal with very weird situations.
The July 18 broadcast of the show reported on Psy’s recent comeback.
It was covering how many well-known singers such as the show’s MC Yoon Do Hyun, G-Dragon, LeeSsang and Sung Si Kyung had helped Psy out with the album, when suddenly Psy himself popped up on set and started dancing to his new single Gangnam Style.
He then left without a word after putting on a jaw-dropping performance, leaving the MCs Yoon Do Hyun and Girls’ Generation’s (SNSD) Sooyoung at a loss for words.
The MCs didn’t know the visit would take place, because the producers had approved it without letting them know. Yoon Do Hyun said, “I didn’t know Psy would really come,” and Sooyoung added with a laugh, “Is he just going to leave like that?”
Psy has been performing in a variety of music shows to promote Gangnam Style, the first cut from his sixth album released on July 14.
