Psy Makes Highest Showing Ever for a Korean Artist on America’s iTunes Top 100 Chart

Psy has made history by becoming the highest charting Korean artist on the American iTunes Top 100 chart.

A look at the chart rankings for August 28 revealed Psy’s Gangnam Style had placed an impressive 44th on the American iTunes top 100 sitting alongside the likes of Flo Rida, Train and One Direction.

The latest chart ranking was actually a bump up for the hit song as it had latched on to the 52nd spot just two days ago.

Psy’s music video, which also placed first on the iTunes MV chart, is continuing to rack up views on YouTube blowing past the 65 million view mark as of August 28 (KST) while the singer is being showered with countless advertisement and sponsor deals since his return to Korea from the States.

Psy plans to make a return to America in early September to further discuss his possible entry into the American music market.
