Roy Chiu and Tiffany Tang breaking up
19 Nov – Rumour has it that alleged celebrity couple Roy Chiu and Tiffany Tang are on the brink of a breakup due to a third party involvement.
According to Popular Asians website, a rumour is circulating saying that the mainland actress has been seeing her "A Beauty in Troubled Times" co-star, Luo Jin. Reports are saying that Tiffany's mother preferred Luo Jin over Roy Chiu due to their academic and educational backgrounds, seeing that Luo Jin graduated from The Beijing Film Academy while Tiffany herself came from the prestigious Central Academy of China.
However, Tiffany Tang was quick to dispel the rumour. In her Weibo, Tiffany stated, "These past two days, I saw many reports about my private love life. It's strange to [write about] my mother, who has no ties with anyone in the entertainment circle and never accepted any interviews. Where did these silly rumours come from? Please pay attention to my hard work and efforts instead."
Meanwhile, Roy Chou's manager, Liao Tianjun also denied the rumour, saying that Roy and Tiffany have always been good friends.
Rumours of their romantic relationship surfaced after Roy and Tiffany collaborated in various romantic idol series such as "Unbeatable" and "Love Waking Up". They also appeared as a couple in several commercials due to the popularity they gained from such series.
