Sammi Cheng is in awe with her fake tattoo

11 Aug – Playing a rock star in the film version of TVB's hit TV series "Triumph in the Skies", Sammi Cheng recently expressed admiration for her style in the film, especially the tattoo drawn on her forearm to complete the rock star look.

According to Singtao Daily, the actress, who has begun filming the movie in Sai Ying Pun in the Western District of Hong Kong, showed off her tattoo online and wrote, "In order to create a realistic character, a tattoo has to become a part of it."

"It may not be as large as the ones on [American tattoo artist] Kat Von D but I do think it's fresh and fun," she added.

However, Sammi stated that she has no plans to have real tattoo inked on her body as "permanent things" should not be taken lightly.

Meanwhile, the actress, who will turn 42 on 19 August, revealed that unlike her past birthdays where she would travel overseas with fiancé Andy Hui, this year she will only celebrate it in Hong Kong due to her busy schedule – filming the new movie as well as preparing for her December concert.
