Sammy Leung is unfazed about mainland's blacklist

16 Nov – Hong Kong TV personality Sammy Leung is not worried about being banned from mainland China as he believes that the Occupy Central protesters' mission is bigger than his own bread and butter.

According to Mingpao News, Sammy, who recently attended a press conference for an upcoming music awards held at the Cultural Centre Piazza in Tsim Sha Tsui, was asked to address rumours that he has been blacklisted from appearing in mainland media.

He replied, "The weather is very cold nowadays and it rains all the time. The loss of money to me is too trivial in comparison to the protesters who are sleeping in the rain."

"Hong Kong will continue to enjoy her freedom of speech," said the music DJ.

However, Sammy still believes that the recent postponement of his work in the mainland has nothing to do with being blacklisted, as his comments about the issue have been moderate.
