Sasaki Nozomi releases first album

26 Apr – Model and actress Sasaki Nozomi released her first ever album 'Nozomi Collection' at the Lazona Kawasaki on 22 April.

According to Tokyo Hive, instead of the usual live performance for the release event, Sasaki decided to have a talk show to share her feelings to the 8,000 fans gathered.

"I never thought I would release an album, so I'm surprised. I'm thankful," said the 24-year-old who made her singing debut in 2010.

"There were many times when I felt I wanted to run away," she shared but wanted to give out a message to her fans that they should challenge themselves at something that they are not good at, at least once.

"Nozomi Collection" contains 8 tracks, including her debut song 'Kamu to Funyan", a cover version of Moritaka Chisato's "Jin Jin Jingle Bell feat. Pentaphonic" and "Papepipu, Papepipu, Papepipupo", which has been used as an anime theme. The album also has a song that is self-written by Nozomi called "For You" which is dedicated to her mother in the Akita prefecture.

Child actress Tani Kanon also made an appearance at the release event, spotting the same dress as her, where they also talked about having similarities like having Nozomi's round eyes.
