Sheren Tang calls Christine a good girl

23 Apr – With rumours swirling around that she was the one who caused the breakup between Lynn Hung and Aaron Kwok, TVB actress Christine Kuo was nowhere to be found at the promotional event of her new drama, "Beauty At War" in Plaza Hollywood recently.

However, Jayne Stars reported that Christine's co-star and "Beauty At War" lead actress Sheren Tang was quick to jump to her defence, stating, "[The rumour] is so lame! I am worried about her."

When asked what might have been the reason for Christine's absence, Sheren said, "Maybe she is afraid of being the media's focus. Even when there is no proof for something, people will think it's real after it's been written ten times!"

The actress also gave her two cents on the issue, saying, "I don't know much about the details, but there are not only third parties in relationships. Bystanders should not judge them. It's not her fault if a man likes her!"

Stressing that Christine Kuo is a good girl, Sheren dismissed the notion that Lynn has been hinting at Christine Kuo as the one who ruined her relationship with Aaron, and expressed, "A man should be the one saying everything. What's the reason to get a woman to say things?"

When asked on her views about netizens who declared that they're boycotting "Beauty At War", Sheren confidently replied, "Just a few? I don't believe it and I am sceptical as to just how many netizens there are that will really boycott the series. This is such nonsense! The TV ratings are not important; I am just worried about Christine as she is not that type to break anyone's relationship."

In the series, Christine plays Consort Yu's (Sheren Tang) maid and the two have a lot of scenes together.
