A-shin is the Entrepreneur King
19 Jun – MayDay's vocalist, A-shin, was recently named Celebrity Entrepreneur King by the community website Pixnet and Global Views Monthly magazine, reported Asianpopnews.
The Taiwanese singer received the highest votes in the online poll that was organised by the Celebrity Entrepreneur Representatives, beating out other contenders such as Jolin Tsai and Show Luo.
37-year-old A-shin, who started his fashion label Stay Real in 2008 with high school buddy, No2good, managed to expand his business to 16 new outlets across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Tokyo. Stay Real also has two cafes, resulting in an accumulated annual turnover of more than NTD 300 million (app. USD 10,046,880). In second place is Taiwanese TV personality and actress Pauline Lan, who owns nine restaurants in Taiwan, while pop star Show Luo placed third with his fashion label, Stage, which successfully expanded to 10 outlets across Hong Kong and Taiwan.
In fourth and fifth places are Taiwanese singer-actor Jimmy Lin and Taiwanese singer-dancer Jolin Tsai.
