Shinhwa Publicly Unveils its Jun Jin-Shin Hye Sung Unit, ′The Birds′, For the First Time
Shinhwa has publicly unveiled its unit group for the first time on television.
On the April 28 broadcast of the Shinhwa special on Mnet′s Must, the secret two-member unit The Birds (consisting of Jun Jin and Shin Hye Sung) which was previously only seen during the Shinhwa concerts, held a performance on television for the first time.
During the episode, the Shinhwa members were asked by MC Yoon Do Hyun on which members they would like to do a two-unit group with.
To this question, Jun Jin picked Shinhwa′s vocalist, Shin Hye Sung, saying, "Shin Hye Sung′s heavenly voice is great. Our fans already know Shin Hye Sung and I as the unit, ′The Birds′."
The Birds is the name fans gave to the unit with Shin Hye Sung as the mother bird and Jun Jin as the baby bird.
Yoon Do Hyun then expressed his desire to see this unit perform to which Eric said, "The unit practiced extremely hard for three weeks." The Birds then gave a surprise performance of The Blue and Feeling You.
Also in the episode, the Shinhwa members picked their best and worst songs from their own music catalogue. The episode will air on Mnet on April 28.
