Shinhwa Successfully Finishes Concert in Shanghai

Shinhwa has successfully finished its first concert on its Asia tour in Shanghai, China.

On April 30, Shinhwa held the first of its Asia concert tour, 2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour ′Thre Return′, at Shanghai′s Grand Stage, also known as Shanghai Stadium. On the previous day, Shinhwa had arrived in Shanghai′s Hongqiao Airport, which marked its first time in five years the members were able to meet with its fans abroad. Over 1,000 fans showed up at the airport to show their support for Shinhwa, and the crowd even followed the members as they boarded their vans.

At the concert, some 8,000 fans gathered in the stadium. Shinhwa opened with T.O.P. and went on to perform a medley of its hits including Wild Eyes, Perfect Man, Brand New and more.



The members drove the crowd to a frenzy with their individual videos, as well as their greetings in Mandarin. The crowd was a sea of orange balloons and lights as the audience sang along and chanted encouragements in Korean.

Member Shin Hye Sung, who had been unable to dance for a month after encountering a severe knee injury, was recovered and dancing along with his fellow members for all the songs that night.

Shin Hye Sung shared, "I apologize to our fans and my fellow members for causing them concern and wish to express my gratitude to them for having supported us and waited for us all this time. We will return that love with even greater stages in the future."

Shinhwa will next hold a concert in Taiwan on May 12 at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall.
