Shirley Yeung calls herself "Iron Woman"
25 Jul – Life has been tolerable for actress Shirley Yeung, who left TVB after 13 years last May for more freedom in pursuing her career.
As reported on Hong Kong's On CC News, the actress, who attended a mall event in Sai Wan recently, admitted that jobs have continued to trickle her way despite no longer residing under the TVB banner.
"I will be going to mainland China for some stage performances and hosting jobs in the near future," said Shirley, when asked about her upcoming projects. "But right now, I have no plans to find myself a manager."
Calling herself "iron woman", Shirley said that she travels around for her stage performances but takes care of her two-year-old daughter whenever she's home.
"It's tiring, but there's no alternative to it. I have to work and take care of my daughter. I am busy 24/7," she said.
