Shirley Yeung does not mind motherly roles

11 Aug - Being a single mother has opened up Hong Kong actress Shirley Yeung to take on motherly roles if TVB ever decides to let her appear in any drama series.

According to Jayne Stars, Yeung had indicated that she did not mind taking on more mature or motherly roles, since TVB has not let her appear in any of their recent drama series after she gave birth to her daughter in March this year.

In the meantime, Yeung has been relegated to hosting duties for variety shows, but this did not discourage her as she wants to earn as much money to bring up her daughter in the best environment that she can provide.

Meanwhile, Yeung has denied talks of her re-uniting with ex-lover Gregory Lee, after she had broken up with her daughter's biological father diver Andy Ng.

Both Lee and Yeung had denied that they had contacted each other since they ended their relationship.
