Steven Ma and Fala Chen sing about sibling love

21 Apr – Hong Kong singer and TVB actor Steven Ma, who recently collaborated on a duet song with Fala Chen revealed that the song is not a typical lovers' anthem.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor who was filming his music video with the "Triumph in the Skies II" actress recently, stated that the song, entitled "Unromantic Love" is more about the love of siblings.

"The song is about us and our sibling-like love. I told the director that I want to sing a song about how I feel about Fala. The two of us have collaborated four times on TVB and we also played brother and sister twice," said Steven.

"In fact, in real life I call her 'sister' and she calls me 'brother'. Though we're not actual siblings, but we are so close that romance is impossible. Thus, the inspiration for the song," said Steven.

Meanwhile, Fala revealed that though she has not produced a music album for two years now, she continued to practice her vocals and was happy to accept Steven's offer for a duet.

In regards to a future collaboration with Steven, Fala disclosed that Steven already has a lot of TV series coming up.

When Steven suggested that she invest her money on his projects, Fala smiled and said, "I don't have money for investment. Mine is hard earned money!"

Fala then added that she will be busy filming a new project with Dayo Wong and Ronald Cheng at the end of April.
