Super Junior Kyuhyun and MCs were Afraid of ‘Radio Star’ Being Canceled
When Kim Gura left MBC’s Radio Star, all of its viewers wondered about the future of the program. Super Junior Kyuhyun revealed that no one was as worried as the MCs themselves.
During an interview with fashion magazine @star1, Kyuhyun said, “After Kim Gura left the show, all of the MCs thought that if they continued the way they were right then, the show would get canceled and began to change.”
He added, “Kim Gook Jin, Yoon Jong Jin, and even Yoo Se Yoon, who usually never takes the lead, began to actively made celebrity imitations and situations on the show. They began to do a lot more than they did before.”
Kyuhyun also talked about how Kim Gura had touched him with a simple text message in the interview.
Leeteuk, Yesung, Sungmin and Donghae also participated in the interview and pictorial for @star1, which will all be revealed on July 20 in the August issue.
