T-ara’s ‘Lovey-Dovey’ is The Most Downloaded Single of 2012 So Far
Gaon Chart has released its most downloaded singles chart for the first half of 2012.
According to the chart, T-ara’s Lovey-Dovey has been Korea’s most downloaded single so far for 2012, with 3,338,408 times.
Lovey-Dovey beat out two of Big Bang’s tracks behind it with Blue in second place with 2,985,936 downloads and Fantastic Baby in third with 2,855,955 downloads.
Rookie artist Ailee beat out veterans such as SISTAR and miss A to come in fourth with her debut single Heaven which was downloaded 2,836,564 times followed behind by Lyn’s popular soundtrack single To Turn Back Hands of Time from the OST of MBC’s The Sun and the Moon with 2,710,524 downloads.
A representative for Gaon Chart shared on the ranking saying, “In addition to T-ara’s Lovey-Dovey, the top ten included three girl group songs including SISTAR’s
Alone in eighth and miss A’s Touch in ninth. Big Bang is the lone male idol group in the top ten.”
