Taec-yeon apologises to INFINITE fans
12 Jun – 2PM member Taec-yeon made an apology to INFINITE fans' due to a ridiculous misunderstanding surrounding his Twitter comment.
According to Koreaboo website, the misunderstanding happened through a conversation between Taec-yeon and Cube Entertainment's solo singer, G.NA.
After an episode of Mnet's "M! Countdown", on 8 June, the sexy singer updated her Twitter stating, "Though I didn't receive 1st place tonight, I want to thank everyone who voted me as a candidate alongside seniors Baek Ji-young and INFINITE."
To this, the 2PM leader replied, "It's odd to me that the kids from INFINITE are your seniors."
G.NA, who is older than Taec-yeon responded, "It's probably because I'm older. You guys are like major seniors."
Taec-yeon then jokingly replied, "Major senior whatever. Like I always say, we're growing old together."
Certain INFINITE fans misunderstood the comment and felt that his comment was directed to their favourite group, along with not understanding the English portion of the Tweet.
Surprised by INFINITE fans' misunderstanding, Taec-yeon tweeted on 9 June, "I think there was a misunderstanding. I think it's important that we sort things out. Happy 2nd anniversary to INFINITE and I will be more careful to not make any more misunderstandings."
