Taiwanese star Nono trims down for wedding

22 Jun – Taiwanese comedian-entertainer, Nono recently revealed his newly slimmer body; a personal preparation for his upcoming wedding to singer girlfriend, Zhu Hai Jun, Groove Asia website reported.

In a pre-wedding photo that was released recently, Nono, who looked a few sizes smaller, disclosed that he has been visiting a Chinese physician to get weight loss tips after his fiancée told him that the wedding photo will last for a lifetime.

"Hai Jun doesn't want to have any regrets when she looks at the pictures in future, so I decided to trim down," Nono stated.

The 42-year-old shared that he has lost 5kg and now weighs 90kg, but hopes to reduce it to his ideal weight of 88kg before the wedding, saying, "Everything is okay as long as Hai Jun is happy!"

When asked about their family plans, Nono said, "We will let the nature take its course."

After meeting for the first time in 2010 during a work event, Nono and Zhu Hai Jun, who was 15 years his junior, was involved in a three-year relationship before he finally proposed to her at a celebrity charity baseball game in Tainan in December 2011.

However, the wedding that was planned to be held in 2012, was delayed when the singer's mother objected, saying that Hai Jun has a long way to go in her career.

The wedding banquet will be held on 12 July.
