"Three Kingdoms RPG" stirs up Hong Kong

14 Jul – TVB's most-anticipated drama "Three Kingdoms RPG" has outraged local viewers upon its debut in Hong Kong on 9 July, with the Hong Kong Communication Authority (CA) receiving 16 complaints for "inappropriate content" in the drama.

According to the authority, Hong Kong viewers filed complaints for the poor CGI effects in the drama. Some commented the effects used are even worse than the ones used in a 2001 drama named "A Step into the Past".

The authority added that there are some viewers who complained about the foul language used in the drama. "The drama is really pushing the envelope by using too much profanity," the complainant wrote in the letter.

Apart from that, some complaint letters were filed regarding the age of leading actor, Kenneth Ma. The Netizens said Kenneth is over-aged to act as a youngster.
