Tony An's business a success
6 May – It looks like Tony An's snack business is doing really well as the former H.O.T. member recently revealed that they have opened a number of chains and there are plans for more!
Allkpop website reports that the singer revealed after eight months that his snack business - School Store, has opened 30 chain stores and that they are planning to open locations within Jamsil Lotte World and at Incheon International Airport.
A representative of School Store enthused that the business already has several locations and has begun to look for franchisees to manage their stores elsewhere.
However, the representative stated that, "Different from premium type franchise stores, which are usually larger than 1,100 sq ft in size, small franchises can be anywhere from 700 to 1,100 sq ft in size. The great thing about opening up one of our stores is that it is possible to do with just around KRW 100 million."
Meanwhile, the representative also advertises their new product, stating that their new pizza rice product has been receiving good responses.
