20 Jul – Fala Chen recently talked about her latest TVB drama "Triumph In The Skies II" and revealed how filming the drama made her realise that she needed time off for herself.
According to HK Channel, the actress saod, "When I was filming for "Triumph In The Skies II" with Francis [Ng] last year, I realised that there were a lot of differences between the two of us. Throughout filming, I felt tired and moody, while Francis was calm and relaxed. That was when I realised that I needed a break from it all."
The actress stressed that it was not TVB's fault but her own as she is prone to take up any new opportunities without thinking if it suited her.
"Because of my stubbornness, I suffered from exhaustion and most importantly, neglected all my loved ones in the process," she admitted.
Fala also likened herself to Holly, her character in the drama, a heartbroken woman who finally found her way with the help of Francis Ng and Julian Cheung's characters.
"Holly lost her way, but finally found her confidence when she became a pilot. She is similar to me. Both of us are slightly lost, but our ambition drives us to overcome obstacles," Fala expressed.
