TVB stars opt for black and white

16 Dec – Black and white seemed to be the mutual favourites among this year's nominees and guests at the 47th TVB Anniversary Awards.

Unlike previous years, the red carpet welcomed various kinds of white dresses, from Tavia Yeung's body hugging laced white dress, Linda Chung princess-like gown complete with a tiara, Sharon Chan's knee length dress with sheer gown to show off her legs, as well as Priscilla Wong's bare-backed gown, which matches boyfriend Edwin Siu's very own top to bottom white suit with black bow.

However, it was Charmaine Sheh's Elizabethan collared white dress that set tongues wagging, both positively and negatively.

In the black and white category, Him Law arrived at the event wearing black and white tartan coat, while Carol Cheng, who was infamous for always choosing a cutesy dress inappropriate for her age, opted for a black and white dress with a pair of long black velvet gloves. Meanwhile, Kristal Tin made a bolder edgier choice by wearing half-pants half-dress made famous by Hollywood celebrities in the likes of Emma Watson and Jennifer Lopez earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the black dress bevy of beauties includes Leanne Li, Grace Wong, Liza Wang, and Kate Tsui.
