Vanness Wu to hold reception in Los Angeles

13 Sep – It was rumoured that Taiwanese singer Vanness Wu will be holding his wedding reception with his Singaporean wife-to-be, Arissa Cheo, in Los Angeles this November.

Yes Entertainment website reported that a source close to the couple recently shared that the couple, who have been very secretive about their wedding, have already decided to hold the wedding in Los Angeles, where his parents are currently residing.

The source claimed, "Vanness had a difficult decision to make at first since he grew up in the U.S., and Arissa is a Singaporean, while his close friends in showbiz are mostly in Taiwan. But they finally decided to do it in LA."

It was also alleged that the couple have already started sending invitations to the reception, which is described as a 'private and cosy event'.

However, when asked to address the rumours, Vanness's manager said that the 35-year-old actor will be busy filming in China from October to next January, and added, "If Vanness has decided [on the wedding date], he must inform us. But I have not heard anything at the moment."

The 35-year-old singer-actor announced that he would wed the Singaporean jewellry designer via Weibo on Qixi Festival, and they have filed their Notice of Marriage with the Registry of Marriages (ROM) in Singapore on 9 August.
