Vanness Wu to marry girlfriend?
12 Apr – Vanness Wu earlier stated that he is not marrying anytime soon, but the latest rumour is buzzing that he will indeed be walking down the aisle with Arissa Cheo this year.
According to Groove Asia website, the 34-year-old singer, who previously revealed that he wants to have six kids but is afraid that he will be too old to play with them by then, is speculated to be marrying his girlfriend Arissa Cheo on 30 July this year, which is also her 30th birthday.
A source disclosed that Vanness has been working hard to save up for the wedding, even joining Jiangsu TV's new high diving reality competition - raking in NTD1.2 million (approximately USD 40,097) for his appearance on the show.
The source stated, "Vanness recently applied for permission to go on a short break in order to renew his American passport. But his real intention is to discuss his wedding plans there."
Vanness met Arissa, daughter of a Singaporean business tycoon, when she was featured in the music video of his 2006 song, "My Kingdom". The on-and-off couple's seven-year relationship was earlier reported to have been hanging in the balance due to disapproval from Arissa's father.
However, the couple's China vacation with the Singaporean businessman recently showed that there is no truth to the rumour.
