[Video] Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ Now Parodied in America
After sparking parodies in different regions within Korea, Psy’s Gangnam Style has begun influencing others abroad to spoof the video with their own creative takes on the hilarious video.
YouTube user ‘midnightpeace1551’ from America uploaded her own take of Psy’s music video on YouTube on August 2 and introduced her video by writing, “It′s summer. We′re bored. Why not be gangnam style?
This video was not intended to offend anyone. We had the time of our lives filming these scenes. We got embarassed a lot, but it was all worth it XD We love PSY′s new song and his video for the song. It′s hysterical. Go check it out!”
The video showed the user and her friends as they danced in a van, in the underwear section of a clothing store and galloped off their own perfect imitation of Psy’s ‘horse dance’.
Netizens commented, “I think this just shows Psy is ready to make an American debut”, “Wow, this was so good” and “Psy is getting bigger and bigger.”
