VIXX Gains Popularity in Japan and China

VIXX has been shaking up Asia.

The group has been soaring in Japan since releasing its debut album Darkest Angels on July 2.

The album ranked no. 1 on Tower Records′ weekly album chart and no. 10 on the Oricon weekly album chart.

VIXX has since traveled to Japan to promote its album in person. On July 5 and 6 the group held a high-touch event in Kobe and Tokyo. Over 10,000 fans crowded the venue.



Many local media outlets were also present, fighting to cover the news.

The group even stole hearts in China. On June 28, the group appeared in the Starwith K-Pop Live in Guangzhou event.

Ken sang a solo piece by Jay Chou to great applause from the audience.

In Korea, the group will hold its first exclusive concert VIXX Live Fantasia [Hex Sign] from July 18-20.
