Won Bin Rumored to Return to Small Screen

Fans who have been waiting 13 years to see Won Bin on the small screen may be in luck.

Rumors of the famed actor preparing to act in writer Noh Hee Kyung’s upcoming drama have been spreading, getting bigger by the minute with the mention that his co-star could possibly be Kim Tae Hee.

According to Won Bin′s company, Eden9, Won Bin was offered a role in a drama that Noh Hee Kyung is currently writing. However, nothing is for certain.

“When Won Bin chooses his projects, he picks them very cautiously. He’s reviewing this offer very carefully,” the company said. “As Noh Hee Kyung is a very impressive writer, he is looking at it in a positive light.”

In the case that Wonbin does decide to take up the offer, this will be Wonbin’s return to television in 13 years, his last drama being KBS’ Autumn Fairy Tale in 2000.

Won Bin received many love calls over the past year, but after careful consideration, he rejected all of them. His last project was The Man from Nowhere in 2010.

Writer Noh Hee Kyung is known for her eloquent writing in dramas such as jTBC’s Padam Padam: The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats and KBS’ The World They Live In.
