YG: "2NE1 will never change"

5 Jul – YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun-suk recently denied rumours of a change-up in 2NE1.

Omonatheydidn't website reported that the misunderstanding occurred after YG revealed a teaser video revealing a group of trainees that they dubbed as "Future 2NE1". On 2 July, Yang Hyun-suk stated, "After the video, "Future 2NE1" was released, a few fans were worried that the girls in the video were going to be new members of 2NE1 but that is not going to happen."

He then explained that the term "Future 2NE1" means that the girls are going to be moulded into a great girl group, similar to their seniors of 2NE1. The girls in the video will only be making their debut in four years.

Yang Hyun-suk reassured fans of CL, Dara, Park Bom and Minzy's staying power as 2NE1. He stated, "There will never be a member change in 2NE1 so fans shouldn't misunderstand or be worried."

Meanwhile, 2NE1 will be making their official comeback with the release of their digital single "I Love You" on 5 July.
