YG to hold their first global audition

18 May – Good news for aspiring stars around the globe. YG Entertainment – home to big stars such as Big Bang and 2NE1, will be holding their very first global audition called, "2012 YG GLOBAL AUDITION."

Korea.com reported that through the global audition, YG Entertainment will be going to eight cities in five different countries around the world to discover the next generation of YG stars.

The entertainment giant stated, "There are many people who are interested in becoming a YG trainee around the globe. YG wants to support those who have dreams, talents and passion, regardless of their nationality. We will be looking forward to the active participants."

To attend the auditions, applicants must be between the ages of 11 to 19. The application form can be downloaded from the official YG audition website, www.yg-audition.com. Successful applicants will be flying to Korea for a final audition.

Among the venues that will be holding the audition include Korean Cultural Centre in London, UK, Koreanisches Kulturzentrum at Berlin, Germany, Tokyo and Osaka in Japan and Korean Culture Centre in Los Angeles, US.
