Yoo A-ra joins cast of "What Is Mom"
18 Sep – It was revealed that rookie singer Yoo A-ra of Hello Venus has her first acting gig confirmed, which will be a role in the MBC sitcom, "What Is Mom".
According to Allkpop, the leader of the girl group Hello Venus will be playing the role of a charming part-time waitress at Na Moon-hee's restaurant who has a slightly quirky personality.
The singer was quoted saying, "I am so honoured to be given an opportunity to be featured in a sitcom after debuting for only four months with Hello Venus."
She added, "I will work hard for this role so not to be a burden to my seniors."
The upcoming sitcom is scheduled to be broadcasted on 8 October and stars INFINITE's L, actor Kim Se-ron and Kim Byung-man, to name a few.
