Go Young-wook's sexual harassment
11 May – It was reported that former Roo'ra member Go Young-wook is currently being investigated by the police under suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor.
According to Allkpop, on 8 May, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station revealed that an 18-year-old female claimed to have been sexually assaulted by Go Young-wook. This was because the age of consent in Korea is 19.
It was alleged that after seeing the girl on a television program, the 37-year-old singer called the head producer of the programme to obtain her contact information in order to get close to her, and is now suspected of sexually assaulting her.
A police rep remarked, "The investigation is still ongoing, and whether or not this is true will be determined after further investigations take place."
Meanwhile, an inside source revealed that Go Young-wook felt wrongly accused and will come forward to make his official statement when he is ready.
