Yu Chiu denies domestic violence
13 Nov – Hong Kong singer Yu Chiu has recently dismissed speculations that the bruise on her cheek was caused by domestic violence.
According to Mingpao News, the singer, who made headlines previously for her marriage trouble with actor Roy Chow, recently attended an event with what looks like dark spots on her cheek.
However, the singer stated that the bruise on her cheek is not any kind of injury but an effect from a skin treatment.
"I had just been appointed a spokesperson for a beauty salon, and they gave me a skin treatment. Each time the procedure is done, the affected area will turn temporarily darker," she explained.
The singer also assured that Roy had not hit her and that it was just a misunderstanding.
"I never thought this would turn into an issue. Please don't worry. It's not an injury," she reiterated.
