Yu Chiu determined to make it on her own

4 Oct – With her marriage to Roy Chow becoming a thing of the past, Hong Kong singer Yu Chiu (also known as Zhao Song Ru) is determined to take care of her two children on her own.

As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who was recently spotted doing her daily housewife routines with her two daughters tagging along, admitted that she understands the difficult road she has to travel ahead.

"I know it won't be easy, but I am confident that my daughters will have a happier life this way," she said.

However, when asked to comment on rumours saying that Roy has been diagnosed with cancer, Yu Chiu refused to respond and took her two daughters away.

In another interview with her manager, Kitty, she revealed that Yu Chiu is currently doing fine and has been receiving a lot of support from her friends to start anew.

She also said that the singer is currently planning to make her comeback in showbiz, and most critical about making sure that her daughters live a good life even without any assistance from their father.

It was also revealed that Yu Chiu will be attending a launching event for an education centre, and is currently in negotiations for several other jobs.
