Yu Chiu wants to discuss with Roy
8 Oct – Despite her husband Roy Chow's recent harassment, which ended with his arrest and criminal intimidation charge, singer Yu Chiu revealed that she will take her time before determining whether divorce is the best way for their family.
As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who attended a launching event recently, stated, "I don't have too much hope in our marriage, but I hope to make a mature decision. Both of us should have a good talk to determine the best solution."
Yu Chiu also stressed that she will not prevent her two daughters from seeing their father despite what have occurred before.
"Any parents would hope that their children can live in a normal structure of a family, so that they can lead happy and healthy lives," she said.
Wishing Roy good health, Yu Chiu said being a devout Christian has taught her the importance of forgiving others.
"It's not easy to be a single mother who takes care of her children and works at the same time. I finally understand the pressure," said the singer.
However, Yu is thankful that her family, friends, and her church have all supported and helped her in the time of need.
