Yu Haoming back to TV after injury
13 July - Mandopop singer Yu Haoming is expected to make his return to television very soon, after suffering from third degree burns during a filming accident with co-star Selina Jen.
In 2010, Yu Haoming and Selina Ren were seriously injured due to a premature explosion on the set of their drama "I Have A Date with Spring" in China. Later, it was announced that he suffered third degree burns over 39% of his body.
According to the Chinese media, the drama will resume shooting in Shanghai next week with Yu to resume his role, despite the accident.
The director of the drama told reporters that he had to re-write the drama script, and this time, all the explosive scenes will be done using computer effects for safety reasons.
"I'm so surprised that Yu has decided to take part in the drama again. I believe we [the crew] have managed to regain his confidence", added the director.
